In-House Coating Facility
Our in-house coating facility recently expanded to 4,300 sq. ft. (Sep 2017) and houses seven coating chambers. Deposition coating technologies include resistive heat, electron-beam, ion-assisted, and plasma-assisted. Coatings can be deposited in a wide working range of 300 to 2100nm.
We have an extensive inventory of over 400 coating designs our engineers can use to provide a stock solution to your requirements. Using a stock coating can often reduce your coating cost, as it increases the efficient use of the coating chamber. In the event a custom design is required, our Coating Engineer uses specialized software to design a coating to meet your spectral and environmental performance requirements.

We conduct in-house environmental testing to ISO 9211-1:1994E, MIL-F-48616, MIL-O-13830A, MILC-675C, MIL-C-48497A, and MIL-M-13508C specifications for, but not limited to adhesion, abrasion, humidity, temperature, and solubility. Laser damage testing is also available upon customer request.
