Explore the Demanding Requirements We Meet
LaCroix Precision Optics partners with industry leaders to design, manufacture, and assemble high‑performance optical components for the world’s most demanding applications. From prototype through production, our U.S.-based team combines advanced metrology, ISO‑certified processes, and ITAR‑compliant manufacturing to ensure optical performance, reliability, and scalability where it matters most.
Medical
Surgical Lasers, Microsurgery, Ophthalmology, and Endoscopy
Your system must improve visualization and miniaturization. So much of our work in these specialized optics, assemblies, and optical coatings does just that.
We are ISO certified, and our ability to adjust our manufacturing schedule makes it possible to meet the requirements of even the most demanding customer MRP programs.
Defense
DRI, Threat Detection, Laser Target Designators, Sighting Systems
Optical systems must perform flawlessly in the harshest environments. There's no room for error when arming our defense teams with enhanced situational awareness, DRI (detection, recognition, identification), accurate targeting, and enhanced communication systems.
With 1/3 of our business focused on optics for the defense industry, we're accustomed to meeting precise tolerances and complying with the strictest documentation and testing requirements.
We are registered with the DDTC and are compliant with all ITAR regulations. If necessary, we can apply for and provide a DSP-5 license for foreign contractors from U.S. government-approved friendly nations.
Industrial
Machine Vision, Optical Sensors, Measurement, & Control
Precision optics form the foundation of today's automated manufacturing, non-destructive testing, optical inspection, and measurement systems. Our optics help improve efficiency, quality control, and product development.
